Crushed aggregate and gravel
Crushed aggregate is produced by breaking down stones from mountains using special machines and techniques to create smaller, specific sizes.
Crushed aggregates are materials made from breaking down larger rocks into smaller pieces, and they vary in shape, color, and size based on their source and customer needs. In the UAE, the main sources of these materials are the mountains in the northern emirates of Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), where most of the crushing companies are situated.
Crushed aggregate from the mountain range in the UAE primarily consists of Gabbro or Basalt rocks, which are typically grey or dark in color.
Advantages and uses
Aggregate 3/4
Color: grey
Size: ¾ of an inch= 15mm-20mm
Large size aggregate, known as 3/4 aggregate, is a type of material commonly used in various construction and landscaping projects. It is primarily utilized in road building, landfilling, and enhancing the aesthetic appearance of landscapes.
Aggregate 3/8
Color: grey
Size: 3/8 of an inch= 5mm-10mm
Medium-sized aggregate can be used on its own or mixed with either 3/4-inch or 3/16-inch aggregates to achieve a balanced average size of the mixture. Additionally, 3/8-inch aggregate can be used similarly to 3/4-inch aggregate.
Aggregate 3/16
Color: grey
Size: 3/16 of an inch= 05mm single size- interlock bedding
The smallest type of aggregate we offer is called 3/16 aggregate. It is commonly used in construction and for making cement blocks. This aggregate is also referred to as interlock sand because it serves as a bedding layer before installing interlocking pavers.
